My book

In 2010, I wanted to do a book on the CAW that I wanted to complete that is to say, addressing the pathology of both the angle of dietary and psychological symptoms and causes are closely related. I also wanted to practicefor patients and their loved ones. My meeting with Pascale Zrihen, psychologist, specializing ATT, has given birth to « Anorexia, Bulimia, practical advice for a better life “, re-released for the 4th time in 2021.

Writing 2 hands, one healthy and the other psychological, reflects the 2 axes of treatment to be essential in this type of pathology. The symptoms of food must be worked in order to develop the psychological causes. The plate is trying to translate what the head can’t express. Working the plate leads sooner or later to make emotional connections and bridges to the unconscious are as psychotherapy advance.

This book is intended as a priority to all of our patients in suffering, their families, and their loved ones as well as the health professionals sometimes ill-informed about the disease. So we wanted the least theoretically possible, explanatory, and practical.

large practical part describes, illustrates, and provides elements of a response – both on the pane dietary, psychological – many of the questions that everyone faces in one way or another to a TCA, arises in daily life. How do I organize my meal ? How to manage a lunch or dinner festive ? How many calories I ingest today ? Is it that I’m counting calories ? How to attempt to regulate a crisis of bulimia ? Is it wise to hide food or lock cakes in a closet ? Should I prepare a meal to share for my daughter ? Should we force her to eat ? Where are my fears ?

At the beginning of each chapter, to illustrate the difficulties that are developed, 2 characters are in the scene : Emilia, 16 years old, anorexic and Juliet, the 21-year-old bulimic, which are evolving in concrete situations. We explain their difficulties both in theangle dietary and psychological, and give the key practices to deal with it.

A theoretical part in the end of the book allows it to complement understanding of the mechanism and it provides information and useful addresses.

We conduct both cabinet and care institutions and follow for a long time that many patients with TCA.

Nutrition in space

Thus, for example, at the request of the Institute of aerospace 3i3s (International Independent Institute for Space and Satellite Solutions) I took a great pleasure to realize a complete record of « nutrition in space ».
